My name is Prof and I'll be playing your friendly neighborhood Chesnaught, a Grass/Fighting type Pokemon straight from the Pokemon X Game Card belonging to that overly-competitive jerk you met in player search. (You know the one.) Thankfully, unlike his trainer, he isn't quite so coarse; just a little bit spiky, and he'll be more than happy to lend a hand to others with the aid of his fuzzy little moth friend.

The big lug is both easygoing and well accustomed to working on a team, but is more used to being on the other end of the Trainer/Companion Critter mutualism- and trust me, the strangeness of it isn't lost on him. True to form he's packing the Earth element, and will provide what 'wisdom' he has to the Diplomacy path.

I'm Scott, and I'm coming out of game retirement to join this place because reasons. To be honest, it was a bit of a snap decision, but it feels good to be in something like this again, no matter how small it is.

Any case, this here is Kassan. He's a loud, brash, obnoxious Delphox with zero filter, zero self control, and trust issues due to an abusive trainer and living as a hobo in Lumiose City. He's good at fighting, but that's about it, as evidenced by his Fire element and lonely Orphan path. Clearly, this means that he needs to make all the friends so he can stop being a giant asshole, or at least less of one.

What's up, people? Riki here, also coming out of game retirement to do something I never thought I'd do: app an OC to a game. I mean, who does that sort of thing, right???!?!?!?!?!1/1

Anyway, this OC right here is Noadiah Vidal, simply known as Noah. He's an alchemist and former spy for the Empire, so he's very familiar with handling delicate information, dangerous chemicals, even more dangerous concoctions and patching up injuries if any of the listed things go wrong. He's in his late 50s, so I fully expect grandpa jokes as much as you should expect the occasional dad joke. This old man (who played two) gets a neat little iguana who absolutely won't grow up to resemble something from a well hated late 90s movie that turned into a Fox Kids show I promise you. Also Noah's got himself an Earth element and the path of Discovery, so expect him to tag along on your harrowing journeys to make sure you don't die!

I'm Kukki, and I'm here with Chloe Valens from Tales of Legendia, aka that one Tales game that suffered from mediocre gameplay, a janky battle system, and being released just a few months before the juggernaut that was Tales of the Abyss, but had awesome characters, a wonderful story, and really great music!

Chloe herself comes from pretty early in the game, so she hasn't gone through all her development yet. She's a knight who values duty, loyalty, and helping those in need, but is also a bit of a hothead, doesn't really think things through, and tends to push her ideals on others at times. Still, she does her best, is compassionate, and she's not afraid to call people on their shit if it comes to that. She could definitely use some friends, especially in this brand new world after she thought the water she's so afraid of drowned her. That's rough, buddy.

She's not as used to fighting in a team, but she'll gladly do so if she needs to and come to others' aid with Alice, her large tiger-like anima!

I have a confession, I've never played Legendia, but Chloe was the character I pointed at and went "HER, if I ever play this game, it's gonna be for her." And MOSES HAPPY DANCE. That too.

I kind of want these two to compare notes over being knights, and how Chloe has Oswald beat in almost every regard in that, since she has a functioning code of honor and he's only just now figuring out that he sortmaybe has one. Also bonding over not being team players and impulsive sword fighters.

I'm bringing you this nerd who is a Salome Harras from Suikoden III, a video game that is 15 years old I'm ancient, too. Anyway, he's a knight, strategist, diplomat, and a darn good combat mage all kind of rolled into one.

HEY EVERYONE. I'm Kay or Kaysper as you prefer. Friendly neighborhood mod for this game, but more importantly I am bringing THIS ball of sunshine and rainbows, Oswald. This idiot boy (and I use that term with only affection in mind) is from Odin Sphere.

The short version is that Oswald is swordsman who got his life and soul traded around numerous times, was imbued with darkness and earned the moniker ’Shadow Knight,’ was raised as a weapon and has a body count in the triple digits, and… is also a sappy, sappy dork around the people he loves. Everyone else, Oswald glares at. And goes into “FITE ME” mode.

While he has mellowed down a BIT from his angry cat days (thank you Re for that wondrous descriptor) he still has a long, long way to go before being anywhere vaguely resembling well-adjusted. He needs to start learning how to do stuff other than stabbing though, and raising a baby dragon seems like a good place to start.

In terms of errata, he's also aligned with shadow as an element, and thanks to praying all of ONCE in his life right before his pull point, is under the devoted path!

I'm Re bringing in this Valkyrie here named Gwendolyn from a a game called Odin Sphere. Which is basically a very pretty game that is just Ragnarok with a twist. So her entire life is kinda horrible, but she's really a nice person who just believes that "fight me" is a reasonable response in a lot of situations. At least she's not as bad as her husband okay, she has some social skills. She's going to be of the Ice affinity and be rolling it with the rest of the poor fools in Chivalry. Her anima is pretty much just a tiny noodle dragon with feathers because noodle dragons.

I also, whenever I have the time or if Kaysper asks me to, help maintain the game pages for this place. Mostly the bestiary so bring me your monsters and other critters or judge me for using so much from the D&D monster manual.

My experience/exposure with Power Rangers Mystic Force is mainly limited to Linkara’s History of Power Rangers review, but… from what I’ve seen? It seems pretty darned delightful! Also has one of the catchiest opening themes that I’ve listened to waaaaay more often than I should, silly hip-hop vibe and all.

Hello, I'm Jess, bringing in an antagonist from the highly underrated game, Xenosaga. Margulis here is kind of a grump and not great at social...well, anything, and is coming in from an incredibly low point in his life. Um...very low. 'Just found out everything he believed in and fought for was a lie' low. So forgive him if he's kind of a downer for a while or doesn't want to talk much about his past, it's a sensitive subject. Kind of like the hole in his gut, which he'll be doing his best to pretend isn't still hurting even though it is, oops. Don't let him fight in his current condition even though he'll probably want to.

His element is fire, which matches his preferred element when using his canon powers, he's in the Discovery guild for being a giant history nerd aaaaand his Anima is a complete abomination of a dragon-bird thing.

This is Mel, and I'm bringing in Sans the little, grumpy skeleton from Undertale. He's gonna be coming in following the events of the "true" ending, so he'll be in considerably better moods then he might have had under certain other circumstances, but that doesn't mean he won't be in a perpetual mixture of confused and curious and depression hidden behind bad jokes. Why is he here??? What is here? Why did this have to happen when it finally looked like things might have been going right for once??? Ahhh fuckit. ;/ He misses his brother. Grump grumble grumble grump.

That being said, don't be afraid to poke him. If your character gets annoyed by bad jokes, then definitely poke him, he'll turn the joking up to over 9000 just because!

His element is Energy and he's in the Diplomacy guild. Most likely, he'll find some tiny, abandoned home to curl up in and unofficially claim for his own, but don't expect him to do much with it. It'll probably look like a shitty little hovel regardless, unless someone fixes it up for him. His Anima is a large cat-dog-dragon thing with a bony exoskeleton and blue glowing stripes, and a a really weird head.
