Dropping
While it's sad to see you go, we understand that sometimes a game isn't clicking, life gets complicated, etc. Characters can also be idled out after three months of inactivity in a row, and if someone else requests the character to RP.
Dropped characters will fade out from the world, as the magic and spells weaken their hold, or alter to send the character back to their canon point. Dropped characters can be re-apped later, with or without their game memories intact, depending on player preferences.
Hiatus
If you want to use this post to announce a hiatus, this is fine as well. Remember that since we don't use an AC system here, this is more of a formality/courtesy than anything else.
Canon Update:
The Rift works in strange ways, and can cause Scions and their Anima to fade out of Avalice for a time, only to return with new or altered memories. Players can either move their character forward in the canon timeline, or backwards to an earlier canon point.
